After receiving requests for information and following the confirmation of the first case of COVID-19 also known as the Coronavirus infection in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Accredicon decided to share the following “Awareness” information regarding the CORVID-19 for you to read as well as a video which explains the basics of how to protect yourself against COVID-19 virus.

Please remember, prevention is better than cure, be cautious, familiarise yourself with the content and should you identify with any symptoms, rather visit your general practitioner or nearest Emergency Room, if necessary you will be tested for the virus as a matter of precaution and emotional comfort for you and your loved ones.

The National Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) housed at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) remains activated and continues to receive information from the clinician’s 24-hour hotline and from the general public number. We would like to remind the public of the General Public Hotline number, 011 386 2000, which operates from Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 16h00. Calls made after hours and outside the operational scope will be diverted to Johannesburg Emergency Services.
